Another beautiful day in Istanbul.
We headed out at 9am to do some last minute shopping. We walked to the funicular to go to Taksim Square. On the way we saw what looked like a movie being filmed. I know the new James Bond movie is being filmed here so I had hoped to see Daniel Craig but no luck...
From Taksim Square we walked down Istiklal Street to the end and then walked back. Not as many people on the street today but lots of delivery vehicles.
Took the funicular back down to the waterfront and walked back to the ship. We were back on board by noon with an all aboard time of 12:30pm.
We went to Jo and Ian's cabin at 1pm for a sail away party with Greg, Cyn and Sarah. They ordered some cheese and fruit and pizzas to nibble on and we had 3 bottles of champagne!
At 3pm we all headed to trivia (which we didn't win).
Wayne then headed to the gym and I went back to the cabin to work on this blog and read.
Dinner tonight was at Giovanni's Table (Italian pay restaurant) with Jo & Ian, Greg, Cyn & Sarah to celebrate Sarah's 19th birthday (which was yesterday). We had a wonderful dinner! Great food, wine and conversation and a 3 hour meal!
