Sea Day
Wayne was up early for another spin class.
We then went for
coffee and trivia at 10am. The trivia host knew we were the winners from the
last cruise so she changed the questions and we didn't win... :(
It was
very windy today and the ship was rocking.
Time change again today so
again 11:30am became 12:30pm.
The cruise critic meet and greet was at
12:30pm. About 50 people showed up. Quiet group this time.
We went to the
dining room for lunch with Greg, Cyn and Sarah and 2 women from the M&G.
Wayne and I both had the yummy salad bar.
We went to the art auction
because they were giving away free champagne - we both had 2 glasses :) Then we
went to the pub on the Promenade and Wayne and a beer and I had a glass of wine.
We sat next to a nice couple from Ontario (originally from
Newfoundland).
Trivia at 4pm and this time we won with our best score of
14/15! More highlighters for everyone!
We headed back to the cabin and we
both had a power nap because we didn't have much time since we had to get ready
for Formal night. Dinner at 6pm in the main dining room. We then went and had a
few photos taken since we were all dressed up.
I was feeling lucky so we
stopped by the casino. $5 each to spend!! Mine went pretty quickly and Wayne
didn't feel like playing so I used his. With $1 left I tried a new machine and
won $25!! Cashed in and left. :)
Then we changed into walking clothes and
went up on the walking track and walked for about 45 minutes as the sun went
down. We walked around the ship for a while and then Wayne got a coffee and we
went to the front of the ship where I had hoped to see lots of stars but one of
the cabins at the front had their curtains open and the lights on so it wasn't
dark enough. The wind had stopped blowing and the sea was calm again. It was a
nice evening and we sat there for a bit and enjoyed the peace and
quiet.
Headed back to the cabin a little after 10pm.
Tomorrow -
Chania, Crete, Greece
